In a country where a visit to a local newspapers stand might provoke a heart attack, it is difficult to speak about the presence or absence of a culture of communication in the public realm. To what extent is the terror of the tabloids extinct responsible media in Serbia suspending any kind of normal dialogue? Have tabloids become a valid excuse of middle class politically correct newspapers with low circulation? Is there really a quiet Balkan majority of readers who lost their traditional media and transferred their frustration to social networks? These are just some of the issues that will be discussed at the panel about the absence of culture of dialogue by relevant speakers who are daily engaged in communications, each in their own way, from research and analytical journalism, through marketing research to visual communication and advertising.
