Dr Nikola Nikačević is a full professor of chemical engineering at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy. His research interests and teaching responsibilities are in modeling, optimization, intensification and control of chemical and energy processes. Nikačević published over 30 articles in international peer-review journals and has over 40 contributions to conferences. Nikola holds a PhD in chemical engineering from University of Belgrade and post-graduate degree in Environmental protection. He spent 2 years working as a post-doc at Center for Systems and Control, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.
Nikola Nikačević is a founder of company Eon+ from Belgrade who created a unique software solution for environmental, social and health impact assessment. He is a principal author of Envigo software, which was supported by Serbian Innovation Fund, though a grant program financed by EU Commission and World Bank. Envigo is now in pilot use by the world largest publicly traded oil and gas company.
