Through a series of dynamic discussions titled “New Civic Energy,” experts and “prosumers” debunk the most common myths about energy, exchange experiences, and present local challenges and practical solutions. Special focus is placed on empowering young people through the workshop “Change the Energy in Your Community,” where participants become active promoters of change, developing creative ways to enhance energy awareness and sustainable habits in their surroundings.
In cooperation with Mikser Festival and GIZ, the “Good Energy Zones” panel brings together experienced energy producers from Serbia—individuals, residential communities, and various institutions—to share knowledge and encourage the wider community to transition to renewable energy sources. The discussion will focus on practical advice for adopting renewables, overcoming administrative barriers, and fostering sustainable energy practices.
Among the panel’s guests are Ana Džokić and Nenad Maričić from Elektropionir, who bring hands-on experience in innovation and community engagement; Rastislav Kragić, representative of the residents’ council at Nehruova 188-190; and Nikolina Pupavac from RRA Bačka. The panel will be moderated by Stevan Vujasinović.
This event will take place on May 31, the same day as the youth workshop aimed at empowering young advocates of energy efficiency.
The workshop for children will encourage elementary school students to initiate energy changes within their homes and schools and to influence their immediate environment. Both workshops will be conducted under the mentorship of experts from the Scientific-Engineering Center PFE.
Additionally, through an exhibition of posters, publications, and photographs, we will showcase several local initiatives in the field of energy efficiency and the journey from energy consumers to prosumers.
Join us at the Mikser Festival and be part of an inspiring exchange of knowledge and ideas for a sustainable future!
