We find ourselves in a laboratory filled with the complexities and mysteries of the world. One labber looks through a microscope at these works, speaking loudly, repeating questions, and conducting experiments, trying to understand or generate new questions. All messages are hidden within the works, some readable while others not. Through this story main subject I am working on in this project is time itself, both existing and created. It has an autobiographical fictional structure. The story readable through my life with today’s issues and objects, dreams, and daily stories. A crazy laboratory worker who tries to ask questions about time itself in his quest uses Arcanum (an elixir, hidden knowledge, etc.). This secret liquid appers as a connector them all, just like time but in a solid S. form. 

Mirror mirror on the wall who is … of them all?

Kıvılcım S. Güngörün

Kıvılcım S. Güngörün (b. 1992, Manisa) is a self-documentary artist graduated from Izmir Dokuz Eylül University Photography. Through the street-portrait-nature trilogy, Kıvılcım creates works by chaining them to each other through various transformations and accumulating/stacking them. Besides being based on analog photography, they combine collage works using various digital elements with the personalities and situations they have recorded in their own life. With the found objects they use together with the photographs, they consider photo-installation associations by incorporating their fictions into the whole
