Design camp „Just Green“/ Madlena Dasic

Has the word „sustainability“ long infiltrated your primary vocabulary, but you are not, in fact quite sure, what it means? And what is the connection to graphic design? If the graphic design is mainly connected to print – one of the leading global pollution factors, usage of paper, and energy..? The thing is, as graphic designers, the majority of what we spend days, months working on, ends up in a trash bin.

Madlena Dasic, professor at the Faculty of Digital Arts at the Metropolitan University, reveals why is, in fact, being a „green“ designer and visual communicator who is aware of their environment and becomes ethically awaken and responsible for the entire design process, an acute issue.
