Prominent director, author of numerous plays, and poet, graduated from Theater and Radio directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in the class of Professor Dejan Mijač. Through her artistic endeavors and leading role at the National Theater in Belgrade, Tatjana is a driving force in fostering a more inclusive and diverse cultural landscape that celebrates a wide range of voices and experiences.

Her approach emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and representation, allowing a rich tapestry of narratives to be displayed in the cultural sphere. Her critical stance on avoiding sensationalism in addressing traumatic topics underlines her commitment to presenting nuanced and respectful representations of complex social issues, further promoting diversity and underrepresented perspectives in the arts.

Her professional “repertoire” includes plays that have raised some of the most serious social issues in Serbia and provided a strong critical foothold to the most current events in the local and wider community, that experience jubilee performance and attract the same attention as when they were first performed, such as: Chekhov’s ” Ivanov”, “Evil Spirits” by Dostoevsky, Ibsen’s “Norah” and “Our Class” by Tadeusz Slobođanek at the National Theatre, “Lolita” by Nabokov, “Hollow Stones” by Koljade, “Oxygen” by Virpajev, Nušić’s “The Mrs. Minister” at the Boško Buha Theater, “Balkan Spy” by Dušan Kovačević, “Traveling Theater Šopalović” by Ljubomir Simović and numerous others.

She directed radio dramas based on her own texts and dramatizations. In addition to numerous theater plays and dramatizations, she wrote the collections of poems “The Mystery of the Happy Double Bass” and “From the Life of Birds”. She was the selector of Steria’s theater in 2008. From December 1, 2008, to January 4, 2010, she was the director of Drama at the National Theater in Belgrade. Since 2010, he has been the selector of the International Mediterranean Theater Festival “Purgatories” in Tivat.
